18 Feb MOVING TO THE SECOND ROUND IN AMAZON BREAKTHROUGH NOVEL AWARD!
Yay! They like me, they really like me!
I just learned that my book, The Wind Myth, A Paranormal Romance, was picked to advance to the second round of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. I am absolutely stoked. There is no better word. Validation is always welcome, especially while going through the arduous query process.
The Wind Myth is one of 400 romance novels moving to the second round. There’s no exact count on how many were entered in the romance category, but 10,000 novels were entered into the contest’s five categories in total. So, I’ve got to figure that my book is around the 80th percentile right now (since 2,000 books are moving forward in total).
That’s awesome. I’m patting myself on the back. And, get ready to vote, because if The Wind Myth makes it to the third round, it’ll be up to Amazon voters to decide from then on.
